Brises (altgriechisch Βρίσης BrΓ­sΔ“s), auch Briseuscite-ref-dtv-1-0[1], ist in der griechischen Mythologie ein Sohn des lelegischen KΓΆnigs Ardys, Bruder des Chryses und Vater der Hippodameia.cite-ref-dtv-1-1[1]

Im Trojanischen Krieg wird diese von den Griechen als Kriegsgefangene entfΓΌhrt und dient Achilleus fortan als Lustsklavin. Brises wird zudem als Priester des Apollon in der kleinasiatischen Stadt Lyrnessos beschrieben. Nach der ZerstΓΆrung seines Hauses und der Stadt Lyrnessos durch die Griechen wΓ€hrend des Trojanischen Krieges erhΓ€ngt er sich.
